The Aston Martin Vulcan just got stronger and meaner

Aston Martin’s wildest-ever creation – the track-only Vulcan just got stronger, faster, meaner with the performance upgrade package developed by the company’s new performance brand, AMR. So we get the Vulcan AMR Pro, which made its debut at the Goodwood Festival of Speed. With extensive aerodynamic enhancements and shortened gearing the new Vulcan is geared up for greater response and reduced lap times. Louvered panels added above the front wheel arches helo extract high pressure air and reduce aerodynamic lift. A sizeable pair of dive planes added to each side of the nose help pin the front-end to the track and the huge front splitter gets turning vanes on the underside to improve steering response and there’s also a new rear wing. All of this results in a major boost to downforce—up from the standard Vulcan’s 3150Nm to an astonishing 4000Nm. Aston Martin is offering this upgrade package for all of the 24 Vulcans it’s built. The AMR Pro upgrade package will be installed by Q by Aston Martin Advanced Operations and the coming months would see the completion of the first customer cars.
