The barrel shaped L.U.C Heritag Grand Cru from Chopard

Chopard has uveiled the barrel shaped L.U.C Heritage Grand Cru in 18kt rose gold, and it’s the Fleurier manufacture’s only tonneau or barrel shape watch wound by an automatic movement. Named after Louise-Ulysse Chopard, the founder, the watch features a sensual, barrel shaped movement and a pure white porcelain dial bearing black Roman numerals. This is also the first tonneau L.U.C.  equipped with an automatic calibre with micro-rotor. The automatic Chopard in-house caliber L.U.C 97.01-L is 3.3mm thin with a 22kt gold micro-rotor and a power reserve of 65 hours, thanks to Chopard’s patented Twin Technology (two barrels) system. Priced at S$31,980, the watch features a hand-sewn brown alligator leather strap with alligator leather lining and an 18kt rose gold pin buckle.
