Bouquet of seven fragrances from Louis Vuitton

Louis Vuitton has just launched a series of seven fragrances—a floral collectionfloral drawing from from classic blooms like patchouli and jasmine along with exotic flowers like Florentine Iris and narcissus. The fragrances  have been created by Jacques Cavallier Belletrud, a third-generation Grasse-born perfumer who has previously worked with Dior, Stella McCartney and Issey Miyake among others. Belletrud stated that he wanted to capture the beauty of “fresh flowers in a bottle.” Accordingly, Rose des Vents is comprised entirely of roses including centifolia, Bulgarian, and Turkish roses, Turbulences draws on the scent of tuberose and jasmine at dusk, Mille Feux features Chinese osmanthus and leather and so on. The fragrances are bottled in simple flacons that have no embellishment besides their own name and the Louis Vuitton brand name. Sealed with black stoppers, these bottles are refillable to ensure sustainability. The series will be available September 1 onwards at Louis Vuitton boutiques, and the perfumes will cost you $240 for a 100ml bottle, $350 for 200ml.
