The Breitling Superocean 44 Special

The Breitling Superocean 44 Special

Breitling’s new Superocean 44 is the perfect diving watch with the classiest of appearances. Encased in a 44mm steel case, the watch features Breitling’s in-house officially chronometer-certified self-winding Breitling 17 mechanical movement with a 40-hour power reserve.  The back is screwed in and the dial is surrounded by a unidirectional ceramic bezel.  The crystal covering the face is of cambered sapphire that has been glare-proofed on both sides for an extra measure of clarity. And the face of the watch prominently features two tone white on black indices for the perfect contrast that enables remarkable legibility even at serious depths—and when we say serious, we really mean it because the watch is water resistant to 3,300 feet. Just to give you some perspective, this depth is actually three times greater than the current world record scuba dive of 1090 feet! The watch comes with a price tag of $3,850 but for the hardcore diving professional, this is a must-crave accessory.
