Fancy a sip from a Burj Khalifa water bottle— for $190?

Just when you thought you’d heard it all, Dubai rears its head yet again in the world of jaw dropping extravagances—this time with the world’s most expensive and tallest crystal water bottles, shaped like the Burj Khalifa and all yours for $190—AED 700 to be exact. To be presented in the run to Expo Dubai 2020, these 750ml sized bottles will be ‘made of K9 crystal, platinum and diamond-encrusted, and will feature LED lights, giving liquid inside a blue glow’. Ceated by Danish inventor Tayseer Hadi, who spent three years designing them, these bottles promise to be exquisite and enchanting. What’s more, the launch will be the world’s ‘first water bottle charity event’ in which the world’s most expensive charity water bottle – a fully platinum version of the Burj Khalifa bottle studded with one carat diamonds and sprinkled with sparkling diamond dust will be auctioned off for charity, alongside three solid gold bottles. Twenty five percent of all profits made from the sales of these bottles will go to Emirates Noble Palms, a charity founded by the inventor. He hopes to have these bottles displayed at The Dubai Mall and the airport.
