Aston Martin have joined hands with the F1 Red Bull racing team to create the world’s most powerful street legal hypercar and its been named the Aston Martin Valkyrie. The Valkyrie is a hybrid which features the combination of a 6.5-liter V12 engine with an electric powertrain supplied by Rimac, which belts out more than a massive 1,000 hp controlled through a unique new 7-speed paddle-shift transmission. This immense amount of power is controlled through a braking system of lightweight calipers and carbon discs developed by Alcon and Surface Transforms. The body is carbon fiber body with a number of downforce features including full-length Venturi tunnels and other openings to keep the Valkyrie firmly on the ground. Set to be completed by 2019, the Valkyrie is obviously going to be extremely limited edition, with only 125 units to be made plus the prototypes. 25 extra units would be made only for track racing. The very fact that each of the 125 units of the Valkyrie have been claimed speaks volumes about the desirability and glamour of this hyper car. Aren’t you salivating already?
