Japanese luxury automaker Infiniti is all set to unveil their QX50 concept at the upcoming Detroit Auto Show that opens next week. The QX50 concept, which will eventually form a new mid-size SUV, is an evolution of the QX Sport Inspiration showcased at the 2016 Beijing Auto Show, and features a cab-forward silhouette with taut and muscular lines. There’s also new tech buried in the QX50 concept’s body— what Infiniti calls the “first production-ready incarnation” of its ProPilot semi-autonomous technology. The tech is supposed to be handy in driving tasks such as navigating stop-start traffic on the highway or keeping track of surrounding vehicles. The QX50 Concept is expected to bolster the future position of Infiniti in the mid-size SUV space which is currently the fastest-growing segment globally.
