Mumbai’s multi-brand store Bungalow 8 hosts pop-up in Delhi

Bungalow 8, Mumbai’s multi-brand concept store, hosted a pop-up in Delhi on November 18 and 19, exhibiting its limited edition Tiebele collection inspired by the Gurunsi architecture of Burkina Faso, a West African country. Also on display were works of diverse designers such as Sri Lanka’s Saskia Ferenando who specialises in statement rings, Delhi-based bag designer Olivia Dar, and Hyderabad’s jeweller Swapna Mehta. Held at Vayu in Bikaner House, India Gate, the pop up displayed the limited edition crockery and home ware pieces from the Tiebele Collection along with designer pieces accentuating the Tiebele theme. Bold geometric motifs adorned the collection, inspired by Gurunsi architecture that defines the mud houses of Burkina Faso, coming together in a riot of colors like beige, blue, brown, ruse and monochromes. The collection was complemented by a unique line of tribal accessories and furniture from Nagaland that is re-imagined by Delhi’s luxury lifestyle store, Vayu.
