Nissan unveils Star Wars Theme vehicles at LA Auto Show

Nissan has teamed up with Star Wars creator Lucasfilm to develop six special edition cars based on the new Star Wars movie: The Last Jedi. All the six concept cars are based on the company’s most popular models in America: the Rogue and Rogue Sport, Altima and Maxima. Each of these special editions is based on a character or a vehicle from the movie. Artists from Lucasfilm worked with Industrial Light and Magic to develop the concepts, which were then transformed into real cars by Californian firm Vehicle Effects. The theme car The theme cars have been built using both future technology like 3D printing and more analog techniques like old-fashioned metal fabrication to bring the design to life, and it took Vehicle Effects six months to make these incredible machines. The 2018 Nissan Rogue which has been converted into Poe Dameron’s X-wing also has its ultra-cute droid BB-8 mounted on the roof! The concepts have been built using both future technology like 3D printing and more analog techniques like old-fashioned metal fabrication to bring the design to life, over a period of six months. Nissan will showcase them in other motor shows in the US. Interestingly, Tata Motors has also tied up with Disney to promote The Last Jedi in India. The company has associated with one of the biggest movie franchises to increase awareness of the Nexon in India.
