The Porsche 911 GT3 has finally made its India debut and it is priced at Rs 2.31 crore (ex-showroom India). First unveiled at the 2017 Geneva Motor Show, the Porsche 911 GT3 is powered by the 4.0-litre flat-six engine from the 911 GT3 Cup racer, and it belts out 493bhp at 8,250rpm and 460Nm of torque at 6,000rpm. The rear-mounted engine is paired to a seven-speed dual-clutch PDK automatic gearbox though owners can opt for a 6-speed manual transmission as well. The GT3 sprints from 0-100kph in 3.4 seconds and tops out at 318kph. The GT3 with the manual gearbox is 0.5 seconds slower in the sprint to 100kph but goes up higher to 320kph. The car also offers a rear axle steering as standard along with an adjustable damper system and dynamic engine mounts. The rear wing is made from carbon-fibre and the GT3 also features centre-locking wheels. The motorsport developed chassis also helps improve driving dynamics and agility.
