Roger Dubuis partners with Lamborghini to create Roger Dubuis Excalibur Aventador S

Lamborghini has joined hands with Swiss master watch maker Roger Dubuis to create the stunning Roger Dubuis Excalibur Aventador S that marries Italian design aesthetic and performance with Swiss precision. It also boasts an all-new caliber, ostensibly inspired by the engine of the Aventador S and the new Huracàn Super Trofeo EVO: the double-balance handwound calibre RD103SQ, which runs at 4Hz and comes with a power reserve of 40-hours. The watch comes in two different versions, each of which are powered by the new calibre and are 45mm wide with a thickness of 14.05mm, both featuring multilayer carbon cases. Interestingly, both versions have straps crafted from winning Pirelli race tires, a result of Roger Dubuis’s collaboration with Pirelli. The first of the two versions is the yellow accented EX613, which is priced at $185,000 and the second one is the EX624 with orange accents and carbon cover plate, priced at $205,000. The watches are available in limited runs of 88 and 8 pieces, respectively.
