Audi unveiled the limited Audi Sport Edition R8 at the New York Auto Show recently. The Sport Edition R8 is a tribute to the marque’s motorsport history and the R8’s very own racetrack reputation, with only 200 units to be sold worldwide. The special treatment given to the vehicle is mostly cosmetic, both on the exterior and inside. Audi offers you a choice between floret silver in two finishes, mythos black, and ibis white for the paint. The colour of the interior, too will depend on the choice of exterior paint. The sideblades covering the side vents and exterior mirrors are finished in contrasting red along with the front splitter, grille, and insert in the rear diffuser painted in a deep black. The package includes a set of 20-inch, forged aluminum wheels wrapped in 245/30 front and 305/30 rear tires. The brake calipers get a high-gloss red finish, while the V10 Plus version’s brakes have an anthracite finish. Prices for the special edition start at €181,900, with the V10 Plus fetching €205,800.
