The new Seamaster Aqua Terra collection from Omega

Omega has put together a wide selection of new Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra models for the year 2017, aesthetically and technologically updated with a fresh look and a new series production Master Co-Axial Chronometer calibre, available in two sizes, 41mm or 38 mm. The vertical teak patterns on the dial have been changed to horizontal, and there’s a new symmetrical case with  conical crown. Some 41mm models feature a rubber strap, new to the Aqua Terra, which is integrated to the case by an additional stainless steel or 18K Sedna gold link.Metal bracelets have also been redesigned to achieve a better integration with the case, and there’s also a new wave pattern on the caseback. The Seamaster Aqua Terra models were first created 15 years ago, primarily so that James Bond didn’t have to wear a diving watch with a tuxedo! The Seamaster Aqua Terra, then, combined the best of both worlds by bringing together a dress watch that symbolised the opulent life aboard a ship along with technological capabilities that support diving—for you never know when the spy might need them!
