The Netherlands–based Heesen Yachts launched the highly anticipated Galactica Super Nova (developed under the code name Project Kometa) superyacht in March. A variety of tenders and toys, including an amphibious Quadski, allow yachters to play on the water and land during afternoon excursions.

Han Solo was definitely the badass of the Star Wars universe, hero for an entire generation—and he was one snappy dresser. Now fans and collectors alike have an opportunity to get their hands on Solo’s iconic leather jacket. Worn in the latest film of the franchise, Star Wars: The Force Awakens, and signed by Harrison Ford, the brown jacket will be offered up for auction on If Only. The auction is on through April 11. The actor is donating the jacket in an effort to raise money for the NYU Langone Medical Center and FACES (Finding a Cure for Epilepsy and Seizures). His 25-year-old daughter Georgia has suffered from the disease for years, and only found help recently through the doctors at NYU. “I’ve been very impressed with the work NYU and the FACES team have done in the field of epilepsy research, and I hope this jacket will provide some means to further that exploration,” Ford said in a press release. “This is a cause that’s near and dear to me, and unlike the cynical Han Solo, I’ve got a good feeling about this.”

For both jewelry and beauty lovers, Kavador is offering the $40,000 Lewis Manicure, a dome sapphire ring and matching manicure set. The one-of-a-kind Lewis cocktail ring, created by New York jeweler Seaman Schepps, is made with 18-karat gold and 40 sapphires totaling 27.5 carats. Designed in the 1930s, the ring was designed by Schepps, who had an extensive client list that included President Franklin Delano Roosevelt, the Duchess of Windsor, and members of the Du Pont, Mellon and Rockefeller families. The purchase of the ring also includes a custom-designed manicure by Vanity Projects NYC to be performed in their NYC or Miami studio. The studded navy and liquid gold manicure, inspired by the hues of the ring, was intended to be simple but complementary to highlight the beauty and design of the ring. While the mani is a great way to showcase your new purchase at a swanky cocktail party or your friend’s upcoming nuptials, it’s the ring that’s the major addition to your collection, and this is one piece you’ll want to show off.

The Rare Teas collection by Jo Malone promises to be a different whiff altogether. Unlike Jo Malone’s existing fragrances, which are often a combination of scents and ingredients, this Rare Teas range will include six single scent perfumes — silver needle, Darjeeling, oolong, jade leaf, midnight black and golden needle teas — to maintain the purity of the aroma. Each perfume has been made with handpicked tea leaves sourced from countries famous for their tea, including Japan, China and India. The scents were then created with an infusion method similar to actual tea brewing. The six scents will come encased in a newly-designed bottle created especially for the range, the first time Jo Malone has created a new bottle for a fragrance in 25 years. The collection will launch in stores on April 1 retailing at 240 pounds ($346) for a 175-ml. bottle.

It took the spotlight away from the clothes and gave a glimpse as to what the star models would look like if they swapped hair colors for a day. With the help of Balmain Hair Couture, Creative Director Olivier Rousting caused a mini frenzy by sending Kendall Jenner, Gigi Hadid, Alessandra Ambrosio and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley down the runway. Far from being a new concept by the fashion house, the Hair Couture concept has gained a steady influence over the past 40 years. The brand currently has a range of products that are readily available to the public but sees 2016 as the year to expand and bring attention to its Hair Couture line. To raise its profile, it is teaming up with an artisan atelier to launch a custom-made hair service in Paris at 13, rue Royale. Led by Nabil Harlow, who is said to be a master hair designer, the service allows clients to color, style and customize couture wigs and hair additions that are made from real human hair. This isn’t the first time that Balmain has ventured into the wig industry. Back in 1974, Pierre Balmain and wig-maker Dick Guliker teamed up to provide the fashionable accessory. The wig has seen a resurgence of late, thanks to Rihanna, Lady Gaga and the Kardashian sisters, all of whom don the bold wigs on red carpets. And while hair extensions have become mainstream, Balmain’s new atelier is one of the first signs that the all-out high-fashion trend for totally transformative looks could be set to migrate from the catwalk to the street.
