The ultra-sporty and droolworthy Renault Trezor concept car has another amazing quality to it—it’s all electric. Despite Renault being Europe’s top selling electric car maker, this is hardly the kind of car you’d expect to have this sort of advantage. The literally electrifying (pun unintended) two seat coupe has a totally far out design— thanks to design director Laurens van den Acker— with its bonnet opening up forwards and upwards to let you step inside. And it’s completely covered in a honeycomb-hexagonal pattern that allows air cooling of the batteries. The Trezor also packs in a 260 kW, 350bhp engine, building up 282 torques of electric power, making it hit 100kmph in less than 4 seconds! How you ask? By using the same rechargeable energy storage system as the Formula E. At 4.7 meters long and 2.1 meters wide by just over 1 meter tall, the Trezor is a commanding presence. Along with the lightweight aluminum frame, there is also, surprisingly, a lot of wood in the structural core of this amazing blend of old-fashioned luxury and high tech automation. This is one baby you’d have to hold your breath for!
