Rolls Royce, Aston Martin, Range Rover, Bentley and Ferrari have all cut their prices in India—and we have Brexit to thank for all of it! Supercars from Britain have passed on the benefits of the dive in the Pound Sterling post the exit of Britain from the European Union, cutting prices by over Rs 20 lakh. The pound has dropped about 20% against the rupee in less than a year, making exports to India cheaper for UK-based manufactures and companies that bill India sales in the British currency, such as Italy’s Ferrari. They cut prices by 5% to 15%, hoping to attract more buyers for their marquees in a country that is home to the third most number of billionaires. Sales of cars costing Rs 2 crore and more in India topped 200 units in 2016, a record, and about half of those were British-made.

The Huus Gstaad is a stunning, classic winter chalet nestled in the Swiss Alps.  The 136-room hotel was originally the Steigenberger Hotel, until architect and designer Erik Nissen Johansen reshaped it into a blend of traditional materials and decor with accents of modern luxury. The four restaurants in the complex are overseen by award winning chef Giuseppe Colella.  As well as a private terrace in each room to better enjoy the mountain scenery, the floor to ceiling windows and large lounge area help you stay connected to the great outdoors. But the best part is the retreat’s emphasis on outdoor activities: each room is provided with an exploration pack consisting of Mammut Backpacks, Zeiss binoculars, and aluminum water bottles to take your adventure out onto the slopes. Prices upward of $200 per night.

The Agera RS1 is the latest bespoke Koenigsegg that made its debut at the New York Auto Show this year. Finished in a combination of Arctic White with a unique shade of blue on the side skirts and rear wing, the Agera RS1 has a cabin swathed in blue Alcantara with the instrument cluster and door panels are finished in polished carbon fibre and black anodized aluminium. But all of that pales in comparison to the fact that this is one of the fastest cars you could ever get your hands on: the car has a 5-litre V8 engine built entirely in-house by Koenigsegg , which churns out a remarkable 1360hp and 1370Nm of torque. The car sprints from 0 to 100km/h in 2.8 seconds, to 300km/h in 12.3 seconds and rockets to a top speed of 355km/h.

Finnish independent brand Rönkkö is the creator of watches that each have a Greek legend at the heart of their creation. Created by watchmaker Antti Rönkkö , the Rönkkö Icarus Silver Sky Edition watch is most impressive on account of the in-house bi-hemispheric moon complication which tracks moon phases in both the Northern and Southern Hemispheres. Handcrafted in extremely limited numbers, this exquisite watch runs on a Soprod A10 movement modified with the in-house moonphase complication. Having the Greek myth of Icarus and Daedalus at its heart, the watch comes in a hand-finished stainless steel case that is 42mm wide and 11.75mm thick. The bezel and lug tops are satin-finished by hand with mirror-polished edges, and a single signed crown at 3 o’clock serves to adjust each of the watch’s functions. Other features include 30 meters of water-resistance and anti-reflective sapphire crystals on the dial and case back sides.

Louis Vuitton has revealed yet another special collection, and this one is the second in collaboration with Jake and Dinos Chapman. This range of bags puts the British brothers’ signature style on display, emblazoning the brand’s iconic LV-monogrammed styles with depictions of lions, giraffes, and elephants that focuses on the creatures’ fierce instincts and wild natures. The bags—which range from sleek steamer backpacks ($3,400) and totes ($2,210) to weekender-size duffels ($2,310) and small wallets ($750)—also feature a departure from the classic Louis Vuitton tan-and-brown monogram, with a blue and white print instead, which heightens the brothers’ otherworldly take on Africa’s creatures of the wild, and allows each of the stand-out styles to pair seamlessly with the collection’s safari-inspired neutral colors.
