BMW Group announced at their annual press conference in Munich their plan to “launch the larget model offensive in the history of the company”: to introduce 40 new models by the end of 2018. The 40 models would include new and updated vehicles across the three brands – BMW, Mini and Rolls Royce. BMW will shift focus towards SUVs, profits of which are expected to help with investments in the electrification programme. In focus will be the new generation G30 5 Series, which will be joined by a new M5 as well. A Touring station wagon and a long-wheelbase version will follow. The updated 4 Series line-up is also included. The Mini product line-up expands by an electric model along with an all-new Countryman, while Rolls Royce is expected to debut the eighth generation of the Phantom limousine, apart from the brand’s first venture into the SUV segment with an all-new Cullinan SUV.

Rolex has released three new versions of its Oyster Perpetual Cosmograph Daytona line, and they’re all in gold. Sporting a high-tech ceramic bezel in 18-karat white, yellow or Everose gold with an Oysterflex rubber strap, the just launched 2017 Rolex Cosmograph Daytona comes at a price of $27,500. As for the inner mechanism, the watch retains its predecessor’s super-accurate self-winding 4130 movement with 72 hours of power reserve, housed inside a 40mm-wide oyster case that’s water resistant to 100M, protected by scratch-proof sapphire crystal.  Released at Baselworld 2017, this watch is sure to carry on the legacy of the original.

And the Apple literally turns red.  Apple has revealad iPhone 7 and 7 Plus smartphones with red aluminium body and an Apple logo made using stainless steel, to mark 10 years of its partnership with Red, an organisation that fights against AIDS. The special edition handsets were created in two variants—128GB and 256GB, with base prices of $749. Apple is the world’s largest corporate donor to the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, contributing more than $130 million as part of its partnership with (RED).

Bugatti has teamed up with Germany’s luxury bike manufacturer PG to create a special limited edition high-speed bike.  The PG x Bugatti Bicycle has a simple angular design streamlined as the auto it is inspired by, super-lightweight at only 11 pounds, with the frame made of 95% carbon fiber.  Italian Carbon experts Merelli handcrafted much of the bike including the frame and fork, seat, handlebars, and the crank.  But the best part is that you can get your Bugatti x PG two-wheeler hand-customised to match the exterior of your four-wheeled Bugatti, at the showroom in Weinstadt. Only 667 units of this special bike are going to be created, priced at $39,000.

A thing of beauty is a joy forever—especially when it is the unbelievably spectacular Bugatti Niniette 66 that comes literally dripping with opulence and indulgence. This limited edition super sports yacht is a collaboration between Bugatti and Palmer Johnson Yachts; it’s reportedly able to do 44 knots, which makes it a pretty speedy craft. The prices for the smallest models of the superyacht would start at £1.5million. Etienne Salome, the Design Director and Head of Interior Design at Bugatti, reportedly stated that the yacht was “not designed to please a corporate brief” but was created for “people in search of a very unique—a Bugatti—experience.”

Toyota’s luxury car division Lexus has finally made its debut in the country with three models – the RX Luxury crossover, RX F-Sport SUV and the ES300 Hybrid sedan. More models, including some from the high performance ‘F-Sport’ sub-brand, are likely to follow later on. The ex-showroom, Mumbai prices for the RX Luxury crossover, RX F-Sport SUV and the ES300 Hybrid are Rs 1.07 crore, Rs 1.09 crore and Rs 55 lakh, respectively.

Zaha Hadid architects might soon be creating a 1400-foot skyscrape in Manhattan’s midtown area. The project, however, is still to be finalized and faces major obstacles to realisation, ranging from the possibilities that this could be a conflict of interest for Jared Kushner, the former CEO of Kushner Companies and current advisor to President Trump. The skyscraper will consist of a hotel and a series of luxury condos. Its lower levels will be dedicated retail space.

You’ve heard of all kinds of adventurous travel, but this has got to be special: if a little eerily so. A London travel agency is now offering a chance to see the Titanic’c remains up close through the use of a submersible. Blue Marble Private, the agency, offers this deep sea dive in a specially designed titanium and carbon fiber submersible, guided by a crew of experts.  The craft will glide over the ship allowing guests to view the famous grand staircase, too. The Titanic dive will begin in 2018 and is being offered as part of an 8-day journey which includes 9 other adventures.
