Celebrating Thailand’s Phi Ta Khon festival at OKO
The pan Asian restaurant’s Phi Ta Khon menu curated by Chef Manish Sharma is a perfect amalgamation of culture, folklore, and fiery cuisine.

The Lalit, New Delhi celebrates the Phi Ta Khon festival at its iconic Pan-Asian restaurant, OKO. From June 7th to 15th, the restaurant transforms into a vibrant homage to Thailand’s popular food festival — a spirited celebration of culture, folklore, and fiery cuisine.

As you step into OKO, you are surrounded by dramatic murals inspired by Thai mythology, flickering lanterns, and the unmistakable hum of storytelling through scent, sound, and spice.

Each dish is made with home-grown herbs and prepared in-house from scratch.

At the heart of the Phi Ta Khon Food Festival lies a thoughtfully curated menu that pays homage to Thailand’s culinary soul.  There are vegetarian and non-vegetarian options crafted to suit the Indian palate without compromising on authenticity, each dish on the specially curated Thai menu is an ode to heritage: from fragrant green curry and grilled satay to spicy papaya salads and wok-tossed delicacies, made with home-grown herbs and prepared in-house from scratch.

To further enhance with the experience, live performances animate the evenings — echoing the playful spirit of Phi Ta Khon.  There are also themed cocktails with Thai infusions like kaffir lime and chili to offer the perfect accompaniment to the immersive setting.

The restaurant has always been about more than just dining.  “It’s about discovering Asia through your senses. Phi Ta Khon allows us to extend that journey into the heart of Thailand, with a festival of flavours, visuals, and experiences,” says Chef Manish Sharma, OKO.
