Yes, basically you shell out a fortune to apply civet poop to your skin. The Civet cat loves to eat coffee cherries but its body is unable to properly digest them, so they undergo a special fermentation process and are excreted out. These are collected by a farmer who washes, dries and roasts the beans into coffee—turning it ironically into the world’s most luxurious coffee. This coffee is the secret active ingredient in the Hermetise Kopi Luwak Anti-Pollution Oxygen Brightening Treatment, a three-step system that costs a total of $4,994—that is, $1664 for each of the three steps.
