Vanda Dendrobium, Singapore’s first hypercar, is all set to make its official debut at the Geneva Motor Show this year. The car’s final specifications will only be confirmed come March 9 when it is finally displayed, but what is known is that it was built using the Bugatti Chiron as a performance benchmark and so the speedster is most likely to boast a sprint time of 2.6 seconds in a 1500hp, all-wheel drive with a potential top speed of 400km/h. However, what marks the Vanda Dendrobium from all other established supercars at this year’s event is that this hypercar will be a new generation plug-in electric vehicle, “inspired by nature and rooted in technology, a marriage of design and engineering”, as defined by Vanda Electrics CEO Larissa Tan.
